Unified reporting instead of contradictory KPIs
An internationally operating company had numerous reports with differing KPIs, layouts and calculation logics. Individual divisions worked with their own definitions, which made reports difficult to compare and caused management decisions to take unnecessary time.
ZPARTNER developed a company-wide reporting concept based on SAP BW. This involved:
- building a central data foundation,
- harmonizing KPIs,
- developing a unified reporting model,
- introducing visualization standards based on IBCS (International Business Communication Standards).
The reporting framework developed by ZPARTNER made it possible to create new reports efficiently and to standardize existing ones.

Following the introduction of SAP S/4HANA, financial reporting was to be migrated to a modern, cloud-based architecture. The goal was a central data platform for reporting and for future analytics and AI scenarios.
ZPARTNER implemented an end-to-end solution based on the SAP Business Data Cloud. The architecture comprises:
